To find Water License Applications in your area go to http://a100.gov.bc.ca/pub/wtrwhse/water_licences.input

In the field labeled Purpose - select Power - General. In the field labeled Water District - select your area, i.e. "Revelstoke" or “Kaslo”. "Current" Water License Status means Applicant has been granted a license. "Active" status means still trying to get a license. Most Applicants are trying.

Water licences include requirements for minimum flows and environmental monitoring and other measures for environmental protection.
