IPPBC members: Green Island Energy announces in the attached Press Release that it is partnering with Covanta to develop Gold River Power Project.

Green Island Energy and Covanta have postponed the groundbreaking event schedule for Monday, March 17th.  

In place of the event on Monday, there will now be an open house “Meet the Project Team” event held in Gold River on Sunday March 16th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  There will be representatives from Green Island Energy, Covanta Energy, Commonwealth Construction, CH2MHILL, Sandwell Engineering, Babcock and Wilcox, Pacific Basin Shipping, and others involved in the project on hand to meet with the community and local media.
