Northwest Energy Coalition

As the Northwest Power and Conservation Council (formerly the Northwest Power Planning Council) prepares to complete its 5th 5-year energy plan for WA, OR, ID, and MT, the NWEC prepared a study of supply potential of efficiency and renewable technologies. As the run-up to the next presidential election begins, the Northwest is focused on protecting its energy resources, including BPA. Sara will bring us up-to-date on the energy projects planned for the Northwest, on the Bonneville Power Administration's strategies to supply least cost energy resources in an uncertain market, and on the Northwest's projects responding to climate change.
