ANNOUNCEMENT

On behalf of the BCTC executive team, I am very pleased to announce that Doug Little has accepted the role of Vice-President Customer and Strategy Development for BCTC.

Doug comes to BCTC from Powerex, where he was the Vice-President, Marketing and Trade Policy.  Prior to that, Doug held increasingly responsible roles in Powerex and BC Hydro in areas of Trade Policy and regulatory affairs.

Doug brings extensive experience with and knowledge of the electricity industry in British Columbia and our neighbouring jurisdictions.  He has established relationships with governments, regulators and industry in the Pacific Northwest and has executive experience representing his company with a variety of senior audiences.  Doug has also played a key role in developing corporate strategies for both Powerex and BC Hydro.

In his new role, Doug will have responsibility for BCTC’s Market Operations, Strategy, Regional Market Policy and Communications and Stakeholder Relations areas.

Doug is a professional engineer and received his MBA from the University of British Columbia.  We are looking forward to Doug beginning his new role with us in August.
