Attached is CanWEA's letter to Prime Minister Martin requesting that the Wind Power Production Incentive should be implemented to enable wind developers to also utilize other government green incentive programs.
There is a parallel situation facing all other renewable project developers for the new RPPI.
BC Hydro's recently issued draft Call for Power raises the same concern vis a vis their CFP's green premium, GHG offset payment and qualifying for BC Clean.
IPPBC will be sending a letter the Prime Minister Martin on this issue shortly.
