| The IPPBC focuses on two things:
- We are the voice of IPPs in BC.
- We provide members with information services and networking opportunities.
IPPBC Members also enjoy the following substantial Event Discounts: - IPPBC members save ~30% on registration at IPPBC events.
- When other conference organizers invite the IPPBC President or Directors to speak, the IPPBC offers to assist on promoting their conference and waives speaking fees in return for getting a ~20% discount for IPPBC members at these others' events.

Students IPPs are independent from government and are power producers rather than self-generators that produce electricity largely for the own consumption rather than for the grid.
Any organization interested in BC's electricity industry that is "independent" of government may apply to become a member. i.e. not Crown Corporations, government ministries or agencies or various forms of local governments. |
