| The 2006 conference was a great success. 46 top executives presented their views on "DEVELOPING TODAY’S PROJECTS – PREPARING FOR TOMORROW’S CALLS". The conference set the following records; · 352 attendees · 38 companies received profiling through Sponsorship events and handout items · 23 Trade Show booths were sold out four months before the conference · 90 people attended the Pre-conference reception · 72 people went on the Furry Creek Field Trip · 50 people went on the standing-room only Powerex Trading Floor Field Trip Of course, that was greatly assisted by BC Hydro’s record setting award of 38 EPAs for about $3.8 billion of new IPP projects in July and a plan to issue another Call mid-2007. Audience members from both IPPs and Crown Corps gave rave revues to the two new Point-Counterpoint debates. Delegates also liked the sIPP & grIPP Bazaar and Gala Reception more than the previous formal Banquet as they did not get stuck at a table with people they could not make a deal with.
